About the Default Translation (MS-DOS to MS-DOS Menu) ————————————————————————————————————— Translator written by Karl B. Young. Translator © 1987-90, Apple Computer, Inc. What It Does ————————— This default translation creates bit-for-bit copies of MS-DOS files. The resulting files are identical to files copied with the MS-DOS Copy command. How to Use It ————————— If all the other translators in the MS-DOS to MS-DOS menu are inactive or unable to translate a file, Apple File Exchange performs the default translation. By using the default translation, you can copy MS-DOS files from one disk or folder to another. To ensure that Apple File Exchange performs the default translation, you must deactivate all other translators in the menu. (Active translators are checked in the menu. To deactivate an active translator, select the translator's menu item.) Note: You cannot deactivate the default translation.
